“The point is, you’re you. And that’s for keeps.”

-Mary Oliver

Birth.

There are as many ways to give birth as there are to be a parent. Together we find your way. As a doula, I take the Googling and self-doubt out of pregnancy. My commitment is to show my clients how to bring their best self to these transformational times.

Body.

I specialize in movement and yoga, creating bodily comfort and emotional contentment. Move, breathe and make shapes in a way that brings smiles and sighs! Playfulness is always the goal, and my clients expect time on the mat with me to feel more like a work-in than a workout.

Teaching.

My childbirth education classes guide clients to a well-navigated birth and positive postpartum. Lessons will instill peace and an inner-strength upon which families can draw for years to come, allowing attendees to choose what is best for their body, baby and birth.

Through security and connection you can move through life, birth and parenthood in a transformative way.

“Do good without show or fuss. Facilitate what is happening rather than what you think ought to be happening. If you must take the lead, lead so that the mother is helped, yet still free and in charge. When the baby is born, the mother will rightly say, ‘We did it ourselves!’”

Self-empowerment comes from navigating the birth you are given, not from getting the birth you want. Much can be done to prepare. Through birth support, parent education and prenatal yoga, I help my clients avoid potential pitfalls and power struggles many American families face during birth. Please reach out, as I look forward to discussing how I may serve you through this amazing time!
